Make Money Online With Web Design

Web Design has come a long way since HTML. What was once a skill that only a handful of university geeks had, is now common knowledge for people as young as 12 years old.

Just like a math problem has many ways to solve, so are there many ways to design a website. Not surprisingly, there are also many ways to make money online with web design.

I've been doodling around with web design for the past 5 years. During which, I discovered many ways to turn my websites into alternative income streams. Before I get into the details, I want you to know that most methods take time to generate a significant amount of money. Still, there are a few methods that can generate income overnight.

Here's a list of programs/services that I use to make money with web design.
  1. Google Adsense is the first program I've used to make money online. It's recommended for publishers who receive a high volume of traffic. Low traffic sites won't earn much with Adsense.
  2. BidVertiser is similar to Adsense in many ways and is also recommended only for high traffic websites. However, it's my favorite of the two because I can receive payments via PayPal.
  3. ClickBank is the one tool that I would recommend time and time again. It's perfect for any website, even if the site has low traffic. If done correctly, you could earn part-time income on minimal traffic.
  4. PayDotCom has been in my inventory since it was launched. It's similar to ClickBank, but offers some unique widgets and other features that makes getting paid a lot easier.
In addition to the income streams you can generate with the services above, you can also use some of the methods below. Note: These methods are specifically for sites who's contents focus on web design.
  1. Sell website templates and earn a commission as a partner or affiliate. For example, you can sign up as an affiliate at Template Monster and sell their website templates.
  2. Sell web design software. You can use a variety of tools for this. Amazon is the best choice for finding quality web design software. You can also use ClickBank, Commission Junction, etc.
There are many more ways to make money online with web design. As you become more experienced with your online ventures, you will be able to determine which ones are the most suitable for your website.
